BET aired the 2021 Soul Train Awards honoring the industry's best in R&B and Soul.
The awards were held at the renowned Apollo Theater in Harlem for the first time.

BFFs Tisha Campbell and Tichina Arnold came back as hosts for the 4th consecutive year.
R&B duo Bruno Mars and Anderson Paak who perform together as Silk Sonic, kicked off the show with their song, "Fly With Me."
Ashanti received "The Lady of Soul Award" and performed a medley of her hits.
Maxwell was presented wit the "Legend Award" and also performed a string of hits.
Russell and Ciara Wilson and Marley Dias received the Souls of Justice Award.
Other performers included Ari Lennox, Fred Hammond, Lucky Daye and Leon Bridges.
