André 3000 Hints At New Music In 2025

Over the weekend during an interview with Amazon Music at Tyler the Creator‘s Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival, André 3000 hinted at releasing new music next year. The rapper released his debut solo album New Blue Sun last November following an almost 20-year wait for a project from the OutKast member.

When asked about his plans for next year, he said, “New music, for sure. New ways to distribute and express. I don’t wanna pinpoint what it is but I just wanna express more.”

He did not go into detail whether he would continue to play the flute or return to rap, but he has admitted that he is not inspired to write lyrics, partly due to his age. André 3000 previously confirmed that he was roughly halfway through finishing his next album.

As for a potential release date, he said, “I don’t know when it will be ready. Who knows.”
