The first debate between Vice President Kamala Harris and Former President Donald Trump is set to take place next week on Tuesday, September 10. But over 11 million Americans might not be able to see the debate due to the ongoing Disney and DirecTV dispute.
Currently Disney and the TV provider are in a major dispute over the terms of their carrier deal. On Sunday, September 1, ABC, ESPN, FX, and other Disney-owned channels went dark for DirecTV subscribers as the deal between the two companies expired without a new contract being worked out.

The blackout came a week before the start of the NFL and college football season. As of Tuesday, September 3, there have been no active discussions taking place between the two companies, according to Deadline.
As a way to alleviate customers concerns for all of the Disney channels being blacked out , DirecTV says customers can get a $20 credit but will have to take a few steps. For DirecTV customers looking for the steps to get their $20 credit, click here.
The face-off kicks off at 9 p.m. et on ABC and will also stream live on Hulu and Disney+, as well as ABC News Live.
