Days before her birthday, GloRilla is speaking out about her arrest for alleged drug possession. The rapper went on Twitter to vent, calling out the priorities of law enforcement after what she claims happened.
GloRilla was hit with drug charges following a break-in at her Georgia home. She made it known she wasn’t busted and wasn’t even home when the break-in happened, but somehow, she’s the one facing charges.
“CRAZY‼️ My house got home invaded Saturday while I was in Indianapolis performing for the WNBA All-Star Game,” she wrote. “And instead of focusing on finding the suspects, they focus on some cannabis.”
The Memphis rapper, whose legal name is Gloria Woods, turned herself into police custody on July 22 after Forsyth County officials issued warrants for her arrest, claiming she had more than an ounce of marijuana and a controlled substance inside her home. She posted $22,000 bond and was released the same day.
So far, no suspects have been arrested in connection with the break-in.
