Kendrick Lamar Breaks Own Record For Highest Grossing Hip Hop Concert

2025 is continuing to prove that it is the year for Kendrick Lamar, as the rapper has recently broken yet another record. Lamar broke his own record for the highest-grossing hip-hop concert.

According to HNHH, after Lamar’s three-night concert at Sofi Stadium, it was announced that he is the only rapper to have multiple tours in the top five highest-grossing hip-hop tours of all time. Previously, his Grand National Tour achieved a milestone after breaking attendance records in Washington and Texas.

The Grand National Tour has grossed over 112.5 million, eclipsing his previous The Big Steppers Tour which grossed 110.8 million in 2023. HypeBeast reports that Lamar continues to be the first rapper in history to gross over $9 million from a single show.

Eminem previously held the record in 2019 when he grossed $8,708,390 from a concert in Melbourne. The “Grand National Tour”  has a couple of shows left in North America before Lamar and SZA takes the tour to the UK and Europe in the summer.
