Hollywood honored musician and actor Lenny Kravitz with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Tuesday afternoon. Kravitz received the 2,774th star right in front of the historic Capitol Records Tower. While receiving his star, the acclaimed rockstar was joined by a few peers that included Marla Gibbs, Hal Williams, Verdine White, Channing Tatum, Pauletta Washington, Zoë Kravitz, and Denzel Washington.
The “American Woman” singer rose to fame in the 1990s and since then has gone on to win four Grammy awards and release 11 albums. Kravitz was recently honored with the “Music Icon Award” at the 2024 People’s Choice Awards and was also nominated as a 2024 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee. He was recently recognized by the CFDA with their “Fashion Icon Award” for his role also a major fashion influencer.

"As a teenager I spent a lot of time walking up and down Hollywood Boulevard seeing the names of all my idols. I never dreamt about having a star," Kravitz recalled during Tuesday's ceremony.
During the ceremony the singer was honored by his daughter Zoë Kravitz who gave a passionate speech to show her father recognition on his special day. The actor even joked about her father's shirts.
“Since you were so young when I was born, in many ways, we’ve grown up together. We’ve been through a lot. We’ve seen a lot. I’ve seen a lot. I’ve seen you change in the most beautiful ways, I’ve seen the ways you’ve stayed the same in the most important ways. I’ve seen the way you show up and take care of the people you love. I’ve seen your incredible dedication to your art but mostly, I’ve seen through your shirts.”
