LL COOL J is hosting a new show that touches on the culture and history of hiphop. The rapper’s new show called ‘Hip Hop Was Born Here’  premieres Tuesday, July 22, on Paramount+.

The show was created by the rapper alongside former football player Peyton Manning. According to officials, the five-episode docu-series traces the origins and evolution of hip hop, while also showing how a localized culture became a universal sound. ‘Hip Hop Was Born Here’ will take viewers on a tour throughout New York neighborhoods, recording studios, and other sites that played important parts in the genre’s rise, as well as an analysis of key tracks from a list of artists.

After its premiere in the U.S. on Tuesday, it will debut in other countries like the  UK, Australia, Italy, France, Germany, Switzerland, and Austria on Wednesday.
