Atlanta rapper Ludacris decided that a canceled show was not going to stop his performance so he took the show to a local food hall. Over the weekend, the veteran artist was in Milwaukee to headline the Tacos and Tequila Festival at Franklin Field.
Before his scheduled set, the festival was forced to shut down due to severe weather. But Ludacris couldn't leave the city without putting on a show.
So he decided to hit up the 3rd Street Market Hall with a large, portable JBL speaker and a mic to deliver a surprise set. In a video he posted to his Instagram, you can see him with a lucky crowd of people as he performed his hit "Move B*tch".
The video was captioned with a shoutout to the person who inspired him for putting on the impromptu show and explaining why he was at the food hall.
“My Show In Milwaukee Got Cancelled Last Night Due To Rain & Thunderstorms But I DEFINITELY Wasn’t Leaving The City Without Touching The People. Shouts to @stevedastoner4149 for the #freeconcert inspiration.” Ludacris wrote in his caption.
The rapper is known to make headlines for his performances including his aerial set at the Atlanta Falcons games to his nostalgic set at the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards. If you're looking to make sure you catch a Ludacris performance, the rapper will be performing other shows this summer.
