Miami Heat player Jimmy Butler is making moves on and off the court with the grand opening of his first Big Face coffee shop in Miami's Design District. What started as a passion project during the NBA bubble in 2020 has now evolved into a business, complete with a café and merchandise.

Butler, an avid coffee lover launched his BIGFACE brand in 2021. The venture goes back even further, when he went viral for selling $20 cups of coffee to his fellow teammates during the 2020 NBA pandemic “bubble” in Orlando.

Known to reportedly drink around 10 cappuccinos a day, Butler started BigFace as an online coffee store a few years ago. Since then, he's done pop-up coffee truck events. BIGFACE is open from Monday to Saturday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 40 NE 40th St, Miami, FL 33137.

"This is a dream of mine," Butler said during the grand opening. "I get to come in here, chill out, meet people, vibe out, and become friends. Coffee is life. It's how I start my mornings, watching my daughter play while I enjoy a cappuccino. For me, that's the quintessential coffee experience."
