Music icon and grammy award winning artist Missy Elliott announced her first-ever headlining tour on Monday. The Out of This World — The Missy Elliott Experience tour is set to stop in 24 cities throughout North America this summer. Ciara, Busta Rhymes and super-producer Timbaland will be joining Elliott on the tour.
Tickets for each stop on the tour go on pre-sale for VerzionUp Members starting on Tuesday. But additional pre-sales will run throughout the week, with general sales beginning on Friday, April 12 at 10 a.m.
“Fans have been asking me to tour forever but I wanted to wait until I felt the time was right because I knew if I was ever going to do it, I had to do it big, and I had to do it with family! So get ready to be taken OUT OF THIS WORLD with me, Busta Rhymes, Ciara, and Timbaland! We can’t wait to share this experience with the fans!”
Elliott’s tour comes after her recent inductions into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and Songwriters Hall of Fame. It also comes 24 years after her debut album, “Supa Dupa Fly” gave a major push in the music industry.
