Nick Cannon and Wild ‘N Out fans surprised the family of late rapper Rich Homie Quan on Thursday with a $25,000 donation during Wild ‘N Out‘s tour stop in Atlanta. Cannon matched fans of the show after they raised $10,000. The State Farm Arena, where Thursday’s show took place donated an additional $5,000.
Rich Homie Quan, born Dequantes Lamar, died Sept. 5 at age 33. Quan rose to fame for his rap hits in the 2010s and for being a member of Rich Gang.

Cannon brought a few of Quan’s family members on stage and presented them with $25,000, according to local news network WSB-TV. Earlier in the night, Cannon and his Wild ‘N Out castmates honored Lamar by performing some of his songs. The show came almost two weeks after the “Flex” artist’s death.
“I used to tell him there’s a difference between songs and making hits and he made hits and I know that his music will live on forever,” Corey Lamar, Quan's father said.
