Peacock has released an exclusive clip for its documentary titled “GARY”, which will shed light into the late Gary Coleman’s life. The documentary will examine the life and mysterious death of one of Hollywood’s most cherished child actors.
The new 90-minute film deep dives into each area of Gary’s life. The film also touches on the topic of how Coleman was discovered and how the people around him used him and his money. Peacock will give viewers insight into Coleman’s private world through exclusive interviews with fellow actor Todd Bridges, former managers, his estranged parents and Coleman’s ex-wife.
Coleman rose to fame after starring in the ’70s sitcom Diff’rent Strokes as Arnold Jackson, a child who gets adopted by a rich New York City businessman. He died on May 28, 2010, from a brain hemorrhage. Prior to his death he had suffered a fall at his home, which officials say led to the hemorrhage and ultimately his death.
GARY is now streaming exclusively on Peacock.
