Press Play! Anita Baker Gives The Green Light to Stream/Buy Her Music Again

Yes! It's official. Anita Baker now owns her masters. Her battle to obtaining the rights to her music has come to a happy end.

Anita took to Twitter to share the news and gave the all clear for her fans to resume streaming/buying her music.

The Detroit native legend tweeted back in March that she was going to war with her record label over owning her music. After more than 3 decades, she said the label no longer owned her name or likeness. She asked fans to press pause on streaming/buying her music until she could benefit from it.

Now, she finally owns her "babies" and we can resume having clean up sessions listening to amazing music.
