Quinta Brunson Receives Key To Philadelphia

Abbott Elementary producer/actress Quinta Brunson was honored by Philadelphia’s Mayor Cherelle Parker last Wednesday with a key to the city. Along with the key, Brunson was honored with a mural dedication at her alma mater.

Brunson talked about the mural that was unveiled during the ceremony at Andrew Hamilton School. The mural “Blooming Futures” was created by artist Athena Scott, with input from Hamilton students and the school community. It depicts the school as a garden, with the students as blooming flowers and teachers as their nurturers.
