New York rapper Ja Rule took to social media to let his fans know he was "devastated" after being denied entry into the UK. The denial comes right before the rapper was expected to tour with fellow artist Mya, Lloyd and Keri Hilson. The Sunrise Tour was set to begin in the UK beginning Friday, March 1.
In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, Ja Rule posted his feelings and expressed how he spent a half million dollars of his own money in production to put the tour together. The 10 stop European tour was announced in December 2023.

"I’m so devastated I can’t believe the UK won’t let me in I’ve spent a half million dollars in production of my own money to put this tour together only to be denied entry DAYS before my shows this is not fair to me or my fans these venues are 85% sold and now I can’t come... 🤬💔," his first post read.
He then made another post suggesting that he was denied entry due to his criminal record.
Ja Rule even replied to an X user who expressed how much they were hoping to attend a concert with "me too my production was epic". When fans asked if ticket-holders would be given refunds, Ja Rule replied: "Yes refunds will be available… "
He was released from prison in May 2013 after serving two years on gun and tax evasion charges.
