Hip-hop legends Salt-N-Pepa have made another iconic moment in music history as the first women rappers to have an action figure. The duo are the latest action figures offered by toy company Super7.

The action figures feature both rap veterans wearing the outfits from their breakthrough 1987 music video for their song “Push It”. The song ultimately sold 1.5 million copies across the globe and even earned a Grammy nomination for Best Rap Performance.

Super 7 previously released figures of Hip Hop icons Grandmaster Flash, Notorious B.I.G., RZA, Run the Jewels, Run D.M.C., The Beastie Boys, Slick Rick The Ruler, Biz Markie and many more. The figures can be purchased here.

According to Variety, a Super7 spokesperson explained the company's approach to selecting artists or characters for its product lines,

“We aim to celebrate artists who have significantly influenced the music industry, pop culture, and who have also influenced our own lives. We work in collaboration with the artist or their representatives to decide what era to celebrate, such as an album or music video. The conversation also includes what form factor and stylization would be appropriate for the artist.”
