While on a press run promoting her album, Summer Walker has come up with an interesting idea to promote the upcoming album. Even though Halloween has passed, the Atlanta singer decided to tell a horror story with an escape room.
Summer knows all about the horror of exes as previous albums have eluded. The singer is continuing on with the theme of being over it with her upcoming third album, “Finally Over It”.
To remind people about the upcoming album that releases on November 14, the “Song Name” singer is giving her Atlanta fans an immersive, one day only escape room that will help you escape from your ex. The pop upin partnership with Youtube, will send fans through rooms inspired by Walker’s “Over It” trilogy: 2019’s “Over It,” 2021’s “Still Over It” and the new record.
According to a statement about the event, each room is built around breakup tropes and relationship red flags, “from the baby daddy, to the ex who has a 450 credit score, to the 50/50 guy and the one who asks ‘where my hug at?’”, and those who finish the challenges will get to hear new music from “Finally Over It.” Walker is expected to make a surprise appearance during the event, and organizers say the experience blends “music, moments, and moving on, made for those who live and breathe the story.”
Fans are able to register for the experience, and will be sent the exact location on November 7th, the day before the November 8th pop-up.
