It's here! The 1st look at the highly anticipated feature film biopic of superstar Whitney Houston.
Naomi Ackie stars as the late singer in I Wanna Dance With Somebody and she tells PEOPLE Magazine how she felt portraying the iconic singer...

She put in a year of vigorous preparation so she could truly embody Whitney's mannerisms and character.
The film is backed by the Houston estate, produced by Clive Davis and written by Anthony McCarten, the screenwriter behind the Freddie Mercury biopic Bohemian Rhapsody.
The movie promises to show the world the Whitney we never knew but the trailer gives us some pretty iconic Whitney moment from video sets to the National Anthem. It's set to hit theaters exclusively on Dec 21st. Check out the trailer below.
