Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson is celebrating after winning $1 billion in a “Power” lawsuit filed by former drug kingpin Cory Ghost Holland Sr. Holland accused the rapper turned TV mogul of using his life story to make the hit drama “Power”.

According to AllHipHop, Judge Analisa Torres ruled in favor of 50 cent, stating that the show never directly references Holland. Previously, Judge Torres dismissed three of Holland’s lawsuits filed against the mogul in 2021.

In 2021, Holland took legal action against Jackson, “Power” co-creator Courtney Kemp, Starz, and Lionsgate, claiming the series showcased his personal experiences without his permission. He alleged he shared his story on a CD sent to Kemp’s father, asking for help to escape his criminal past.

In another lawsuit, he accused Jackson of harassment, alleging that the rapper sent his associates to intimidate him. Lionsgates and Starz were accused of failing to shield him from threats made by Jackson and his associates.

In true 50 Cent fashion, the rapper took the win as a time to celebrate and boast about the dismissal online. The rapper posted on Instagram a screenshot of a headline announcing the win.
