The NFL made a big announcement over the weekend when they named the latest Super Bowl headliner. Next year, Puerto Rican musician Bad Bunny is taking the field and performing at the Super Bowl LX halftime show.
“What I’m feeling goes beyond myself. It’s for those who came before me and ran countless yards so I could come in and score a touchdown… this is for my people, my culture, and our history,” Bad Bunny said in an NFL statement announcing the halftime show.
The Super Bowl is scheduled to take place at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, on Sunday, February 8, 2026. The Sunday announcement came as the Grammy winner wrapped his two-month long residency at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot in San Juan.
Bad Bunny’s performance will be the second time that the National Football League (NFL) has co-signed an artist who is seen as “controversial” by some of the league’s supporters.
