Comedy Central announced the premiere date of its anticipated adult animated series Everybody Still Hates Chris. The reimagined series starring and executive produced by Chris Rock premieres on Wednesday, September 25.

As with the live-action comedy, which ran from 2005-2009, Everybody Still Hates Chris will feature Rock narrating stories from his life growing up in Brooklyn. Tichina Arnold and Terry Crews will reprise their roles as Rochelle and Julius, Chris’ parents. Tim Johnson Jr. plays the young Chris, and Terrence Little Gardenhigh and Ozioma Akagha voice his siblings, Drew and Tonya.

Gunnar Sizemore plays Greg, Chris’ only friend at school. The series is produced by CBS Studios and Chris Rock Enterprises, in association with 3 Arts Entertainment.

The new show will join Comedy Central's animated line up with the long-running show South Park.
