GloRilla, T-Pain To Receive Special Honors At BMI R&B/Hip-Hop Awards

Both GloRilla and T-Pain were honored at the 2025 BMI R&B/Hip-Hop Awards that took place August 5 in Los Angeles. The two artists, who dropped a collab on Glo’s debut album called “I Luv Her,” are being recognized for different times in their careers.
T-Pain received the BMI President’s Award in recognition of his career, marked by a catalog of hit songs — including “Buy U a Drank (Shawty Snappin’)”, “Bartender,” “I’m Sprung,” and “I’m N Luv (Wit a Stripper,” among others — that have resonated across generations and connected with audiences around the world. GloRilla will be presented with the BMI Impact Award for her breakthrough in music.
