Jaden Smith is continuing his humanitarian work with a food truck initiative. The restaurant will be an continued initiative to feed the homeless that started in 2019, on his 21st birthday.
“It’s for homeless people to get free food,” he told Variety. While Smith’s restaurant is inclusive to all, the actor says there’s a price patrons will have to pay. “[I]f you’re not homeless, not only do you have to pay, but you have to pay for more than the food’s worth so that you can pay for the person behind you,” he said.
This is not Smith’s first time showing his philanthropy work. The musician is also the owner of JUST Water and is leading 501CTHREE.org’s Water Box project to provide access to clean water to underserved communities.
