Singer Jazmine Sullivan returned to her alma mater to help a teen feel special on her prom night. Sullivan gifted a custom prom gown to a student named Raigen and a tuxedo to the student's date.
To help make the teen’s prom experience unforgettable, the Grammy-winning singer partnered with her alma mater, the Creative and Performing Arts High School (CAPA) in Philadelphia, and celebrity stylist Marquette Redding.
In a post shared on Instagram, Sullivan explained that she took part in the experience because every young person deserves to feel seen.
“Every young person deserves to feel seen, celebrated, and special,” Sullivan wrote.
Sullivan also acknowledged the efforts of CAPA staff, event organizers, and all of the students who participated in the giveaway, “Thank you for helping me go back in time and be a part of your special day.”
