Kenya Moore Issues Apology on Tamron Hall's Show for RHOA Incident

Kenya Moore is opening up about the rumored incident where she allegedly exposed explicit photos of another The Real Housewives Of Atlanta cast member, ultimately resulting in her exit from the franchise. Speaking on the Tamron Hall Show, the 53-year-old reality television star detailed her regret for the entire ordeal.

“I’ve taken full accountability for the things that I’ve done. I am sorry for what I’ve done,” Moore detailed to Hall. “I didn’t have to take it that far but when I feel threatened — I’ve never had a child and be in a situation like this before so that’s why I escalated it to the point that I was protecting not only myself but my child,” she added as she began to tear up.
“Hindsight is always 50-50,” she expressed. “If I could do it all over again, I believe the
photos were very distasteful, and I elevated the situation. I’ve elevated situations before, and I’ve taken full accountability for the things that I’ve done.”
Earlier this year, controversy struck when it was revealed that the 1993 Miss USA winner had been suspended from the reality series. The suspension followed allegations of targeting new housewife Brittany Eady with a public act of revenge porn during the filming of Season 16.
“I would never engage in revenge porn, I have never distributed private images or footage of anyone, nor solicited images owned by others to use to threaten or blackmail,” detailed Moore on X, at the time. “I have always been vindicated. I can’t talk about STORY even with people planting fake news.”

Bravo made the decision for Kenya Moore to exit the franchise, marking the end of her journey that began with her debut on the series in 2012. Initially slated as one of two returning housewives from Season 15, alongside Drew Sidora, Moore's departure signals a shift in the lineup for the upcoming season.
The new season promises fresh dynamics, introducing new housewives to the fold as Kandi Burruss, Sanya Richards-Ross, and Marlo Hampton step away from the series. Fans can look forward to the return of Porsha Williams, with Cynthia Bailey rejoining in a "friend of the cast" role. Meanwhile, Shamea Morton Mwangin has been elevated to a lead housewife, and first-time peach holders Kelli Ferrell and Angela Oakley will debut, adding an exciting layer of drama to the show!
RHOA Season 16 began production in May 2024, with a season premiere set for 2025.
