Kenya Moore to Return to Season 16 of ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’

The 53-year-old reality star took to Instagram on Friday to post a video announcing her return for season 16.

The former Miss USA winner told ET in February, "If I get an offer -- if I have an offer -- you'll know it when Bravo announces it." 

Moore made the choice once before to walk away from the Bravo series, sitting out season 11 as she focused on her then-new marriage to now-ex-husband Marc Daly and her pregnancy with now-5-year-old daughter Brooklyn. 

"Everything has its season," she told ET. ...You have to follow your heart, and in this time where I just feel liberated, you know? I finally have been granted a divorce, I finally got the most beautiful child I ever wanted ... and I feel like when it's time for me to move on, I'll know, and it'll be a happy moment. ... It will mean that I am taking a step in a different direction, and I would hope that everyone would support me in that."

RHOA's 15th season wrapped up back in September. The ladies launched back into production soon after their finale aired, but cameras have yet to go back up in the ATL as Bravo creatively retool for season 16.

Moore is currently the RHOA's longest-running peach-holder. The show has recently faced a major casting shakeup that's left production in limbo for months, off its typical shooting schedule.

Longtime RHOA star Kandi Burruss confirmed she would be leaving the show after 14 consecutive seasons. Executive producer Andy Cohen said in a February episode of his radio show that Sanya Richards-Ross would not be returning.

RHOA star Porsha Williams announced her return back in February, so it will be interesting to see the two share the screen again. Both women joined the show in season 5 and immediately became rivals for years to come.

It is unclear where they stand now, but Moore stated she would be excited to work with Williams again.
