Lil Baby Helps Families In ATL Get Ready For Back to School

Lil Baby is giving back to his community by helping families prepare for the new school year. On Saturday, July 26, the Atlanta native hosted the fifth annual Back-to-School Fest at West End Production Park.

The event is held with an aim to eliminate financial obstacles for Atlanta's West End youth by offering a day of free resources and community activities. During the event thousands of students received free shoes, backpacks, and school uniforms.

Additionally, students received haircuts, braids, and wellness products on behalf of Lil Baby’s foundation, The Jones Project. According to Complex, The Jones Project and Lil Baby gave back to the rapper’s neighborhood by partnering with organizations such as The Jessie Rose Project, Zaxby's, The Athlete's Foot, Fanatics, Slim & Husky's Pizza, Dr. Bombay, and J.Mcallister Events.

The event offered festival games, bounce houses, face painting, a shoe-building station, and free meals. The meals came from Zaxby's, the shoes from The Athlete’s Foot, there was merchandise from Fanatics, and also food from Slim & Husky's Pizza, and Dr. Bombay Ice Cream.
