Lizzo backtracks and clarifies what she meant by her latest 'I QUIT' Instagram post.

The singer took to social media last week to let the world know how she was tired of putting up with being dragged by everyone in her life and on the internet.

But on Tuesday, Lizzo took to Instagram again, this time in a video while wearing an aquamarine bodysuit to clear things up.

“I just need to clarify — when I say I quit, I mean, I quit giving any negative energy attention,” she said. “What I’m not gonna quit is the joy of my life, which is making music, which is connecting with people.”

Even though the singer never mentioned exactly what she referring to or who, it is true she has been the topic of major headlines in recent months. She has also faced negative comments about her weight since she rose to fame.

In August of last year, her former tour dancers filed a harassment lawsuit against her, alleging sexual misconduct and hostile work conditions.

Three days later, Lizzo told fans that she was fed up with being targeted online. The dancers' Los Angeles-based attorney Ron Zambrano said in a statement, "It's a joke that Lizzo would say she is being bullied by the internet when she should instead be taking an honest look at herself. Her latest post is just another outburst seeking attention and trying to deflect from her own failings as she continues to blame everyone else for the predicament she is in. Lizzo's legal and public relations strategy is a failure, so she is desperately trying to play the victim."
