Netflix Raising Prices

Get ready, Netflix is raising their prices yet again. This time the streaming service will be adding $1 or $2 depending on your plan.

The standard plan will rise to $15.50 from $14, the basic plan which doesn't include HD will rise from $9 to $10 and the 4K plan will be the highest rising from $18 to $20.

Sorry new subscribers, the prices go into effect immediately for you. For existing subscribers, the changes will be rolled out gradually. Netflix promises to email members 30 days prior to the hike going into effect.

Netflix says they continue to raise prices to be able to offer a variety of quality entertainment options. Adding m0re subscribers is difficult, so price hikes are likely the answer. They are also competing against Hulu, HBO Max, Amazon Prime, Disney + and many others.
