Long Time Rumored Aaliyah Role actually meant for Beyonce

Aaliyah was on track to be a triple threat in the entertainment industry before her life was cut short at the age of 22.

We already knew her in the music world and she had films like "Romeo Must Die" and "Queen of the Damned" under her belt.

Rumors have swirled for years that Aaliyah was set to star in the film that came out just 2 years after her death. Recently the film's director, Billie Woodruff revealed that Aaliyah was never actually tied to the film.

It was none other than Beyonce who actually got the role. However due to scheduling conflicts with her "Dangerously in Love" tour, she couldn't do it.

Ultimately, the role ended up going to Jessica Alba. Honey was a box office success and later became a cult classic.
