They're In! Emmy Nominations 2022

The Primetime Emmy noms are in! Yep, it's that time of year to honor the very best in television. The Television Academy along with hosts J.B. Smoove and Melissa Fumero revealed the nominations for the 74th Primetime Emmy Awards.

Succession earned the most noms with 25. Emmy favorite Ted Lasso isn't too far behind with 20. Limited series White Lotus also scored 20. While Only Murders in the Building and Hacks each earned 17.

History was made with newcomer Abbott Elementary snagging 7 noms including one for Sheryl Lee Ralph, Tyler James Williams and 3 for creator and actress Quinta Brunson. Her noms made her the 1st black woman to earn 3 nominations for a comedy series in a single year.

Lizzo also made a big splash, earning 6 noms including "Best Competition Program" for her Amazon reality series Watch Out For the Big Grrrls.

1st time nominees include Barack Obama and the late Chadwick Boseman among many others. The Primetime Emmys air Sept 12 on NBC and Peacock.
