Tyler Perry To Pay For Funeral Of Mississippi Teen Nolan Wells

Tyler Perry is helping a family in Mississippi after an 18-year-old was found dead. Perry is helping to cover the funeral cost for Nolan Wells.

Wells was found dead after he went missing during a boat trip with friends over the 4th of July weekend. The announcement came during a press conference when Rev. Al Sharpton said that the media mogul offered to cover the expenses for the funeral which Sharpton will officiate.

Wells' body was found on July 6 off the coast of Horn Island, (put state) after a search involving multiple agencies. In a post on social media, Perry said he had personal experience not knowing what happened to loved ones.

"I know what it's like to not have the answers that loved ones so desperately need. The agony is deliberating," Perry wrote. "It is my hope that Nolan's parents and all who knew and loved him get to the truth of what happened in Mississippi. "
