Upcoming Wendy Williams Docu-Series

Peacock has green lit a documentary celebrating Wendy Williams and her daytime talk show. The three-part docuseries, titled Clap If You Care: The Wendy Williams Show, is set to air in 2027.


Suzzanne Bass, an executive producer on The Wendy Williams talk show will be an EP for the documentary. Bass often appeared on camera during the show reacting to Williams’ hot takes and will bring her firsthand account on the show’s place in pop culture.


According to Deadline, Clap If You Care: The Wendy Williams Show will feature 20 former staffers from the talk show who will all share their behind-the-scenes experiences working alongside the former daytime talk show host. Deadline also mentions while the docuseries will praise Williams’ TV reign, it will additionally shed light on the complicated truths about the cost of fame and answer lingering questions surrounding Williams’ exit from her show.
