Over the weekend A'ja Wilson and five other former University of South Carolina players were inducted into the USC Lettermen’s Association Hall of Fame. The hall of fame induction took place on Thursday, October 23, inside Williams-Brice Stadium.
Wilson was officially inducted on Thursday night alongside Natasha Hastings (women’s track), Brandon Hulko (men’s diving), Paul Jubb (men’s tennis), Akram Mahmoud (men’s swimming) and Mollie Patton (women’s soccer 2006-2010). At the ceremony Wilson was joined by her former coach Dawn Staley, her parents, and her boyfriend Bam Adebayo who all celebrated her achievement.
Wilson’s latest accomplishments do not stop there as the player recently won her third WNBA title with the Las Vegas Aces. Additionally, she’s won collegiate and professional championships, been named player of the year at USC and in the WNBA, has two gold medals and even released a signature shoe with Nike.
