Young Thug Proposes To Mariah The Scientist During Atlanta Concert

Young Thug and Mariah the Scientist are engaged after the rapper proposed onstage in their hometown of Atlanta, Georgia during his Hometown Hero benefit concert on Tuesday. Videos captured by fans, showed Young Thug dropping down on one knee and popping the question to his longtime girlfriend Mariah the Scientist as the crowd erupted in cheers.
The video also showed a huge screen behind them with the words in all-caps, "WILL YOU MARRY ME?” The soon-to-be groom and bride hugged and kissed after the special moment.
The rapper then slid a massive diamond engagement ring onto the "Burning Blue" singer's left ring finger as she said happily, "Put it on!" "Guess I'm getting married!" Mariah the Scientist said gleefully into a glittery microphone before kissing her fiancé again.
Just a few days prior to the engagement during her interview with Angie Martinez for Power 105.1 that released on Saturday, Dec. 13, Mariah the Scientist shared that she was ready to "settle down" and eventually have "at least one" child.
