Missy Elliott Stuns Fans with Transformers-Inspired Coachella Set

Missy Elliott reminded everyone at Coachella that she’s still one of the most creative artist in the game. The rap icon hit the stage at the festival’s opening day on Friday in a Transformers inspired outfit.

She appeared as a futuristic vehicle before transforming into her futuristic racing outfit. The Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame inductee performed classics like “She’s A B*tch” and “Get Ur Freak On” (in a mashup with Ice Spice’s “Bikini Bottom”) and revisited her classic trashbag costume from her breakout 1997 music video for “The Rain (Supa Dupa Fly).”

According to Variety, Elliott gave the crowd hit after hit from “I’m Really Hot” and “Gossip Folks” to “One Minute Man” and “Hot Boyz.” And went full neon for performances of “Work It” and “Pass That Dutch” before closing with “Lose Control.”

Missy is set to return for the second weekend of Coachella on Friday, April 18.
